A serious incident has been recorded on the Tirana-Elbasan highway, near the TEG area, where a concrete mixer lost control and fell from the height of the Sauk roundabout. As a result, the driver of the heavy vehicle died on the spot, while another person suffered severe injuries.

According to initial reports, the concrete mixer ended up on top of an Audi vehicle that was traveling below on the highway. The injured person is precisely the driver of this car, who is in critical health condition. The news was made known by News24 journalist Xhensila Kodra.
Authorities have not yet determined the exact circumstances of the accident. Initial suspicions point to speed beyond the permitted limits or loss of steering control. From the data so far, the victim is the concrete mixer driver, and the only other person involved in the collision is the injured, the driver of the Audi vehicle.
