During the protest, chants included “Arrest Rama, free the citizens,” “All of Albania is with you,” “We are not afraid of political imprisonment,” and “You are not alone.”

A day earlier, protesters announced that they would demand the release of those arrested, while also reiterating the demands of the movement, which is approaching its 100th day.

The main demand, which they describe as non-negotiable, is the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the government.

This evening, citizens are once again expected to gather first in Skanderbeg Square.

From there, they will march toward the Prime Minister’s Office, where speeches will be delivered, before continuing through the streets of the capital.

Last night’s rally marked the 96th day of the mobilization. Participants initially gathered outside the Prime Minister’s Office and then marched through the streets of Tirana, carrying national flags and flares.

Chants of “Rama in prison, Berisha in prison,” “Your end has come,” and “New Albania” were also repeated during the protest.
