Protest escalates as door to Parliament Presidency is breached and fire is set at entrance; police use tear gas

Protesters have breached the door of the Parliament Presidency, while a fire has been set at the entrance to the building.

The situation has become even more tense after police fired large quantities of tear gas and used explosive canisters to disperse the protesters.

The students, however, have not retreated. They continue their organized and united stand in the streets of the capital, despite the intervention of the security forces.
