According to Pacolli, the authorities are continuously monitoring the activity of stone crushers across the country, using drones and digital equipment.
“In addition to aerial surveillance, the environmental inspectorate is on the ground every day to check the implementation of orders to stop work,” Pacolli wrote.
She stressed that in recent days, six cases have been identified where stone crushers continued their activity illegally, despite orders to stop work.
“All were punished according to the law, while official signs prohibiting work have been placed at the locations where they operated,” she declared.
Pacolli said that field inspections will continue, with the aim of preserving the land, water and beautiful nature of Kosovo.
