Former President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has brought back to attention July 22, 2010, a symbolic day when the International Court of Justice (ICJ) confirmed that Kosovo’s declaration of independence did not constitute a violation of international law.

In a social media post accompanied by photos from that time, Osmani described it as the moment when Serbia suffered defeat at the International Court of Justice.
“July 22, 2010, The Hague. Gratitude to the entire team with whom we worked together for this historic result for our Republic,” she expressed in her message, while also sharing images from The Hague to recall the advisory opinion that remains a cornerstone in strengthening Kosovo’s position in the international arena.
