Orikum Residents Protest, Call for Administrative Unit to Become a Municipality Again

Citizens of Orikum have taken to the streets to demand that the administrative unit regain municipality status, which it held before the 2014 administrative-territorial reform.

Participants oppose the current administrative organization and are calling for Orikum to once again operate as a separate municipality. With this stance, Orikum joins 15 other municipalities that have opposed the new administrative division proposed by the governing majority.
