From the Prime Minister’s Office, the protesters headed onto the streets of the capital, beginning their march in central Tirana. Their main demand remains the departure of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
Among the slogans repeatedly heard were “Rama to prison, Berisha to prison,” “Edi Rama resign,” and “The homeland is not for sale.”

With nonstop chants against the government, including “Arrest Balluku!”, participants set off along the “Dëshmorët e Kombit” boulevard, as they call for the overthrow of what they describe as a “government clique.”
Initially born as a reaction to the project in Zvërnec, the protest has expanded into a broader movement against the political caste, focused on the removal of Prime Minister Edi Rama and changing the political system.
