In a Facebook post, Lloga referred to the claims of two brothers from Kumanovo, who say they were beaten by three police officers. According to him, the officials involved have been reported to Internal Control.

He called on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to take action against any police officer suspected of violating the law and warned that inaction could weaken citizens’ trust in the security institutions.

“The case in Saraj, this one in Kumanovo and the case of the 11-year-old child in Gostivar should serve as an alarm for the institutions,” Lloga stressed.

Lloga called on the Prosecutor’s Office to act impartially and independently, and to also examine other possible cases of police violence that may not have been made public or reported.

According to him, every allegation of police violence must be investigated by the institutions, while responsibility must be determined on the basis of evidence and legal procedures.
