Kosovo’s Prime Minister Albin Kurti held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with Dame Karen Pierce, the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for the Western Balkans.

During the conversation, Dame Karen Pierce conveyed the greetings of the British government and the United Kingdom’s Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, on the election of the President and the full functioning of Kosovo’s institutions.
The British envoy also expressed London’s unwavering and full support for Kosovo, its democratic advancement, and the country’s political and development processes.
Kurti thanked Pierce for her greetings and said that Kosovo remains ready to continue cooperation with the Government of the United Kingdom, alongside expanding new strategic partnerships.
The telephone call took place within the framework of relations between Kosovo and the United Kingdom, with a focus on political cooperation and support for the country’s democratic development.
