This Thursday, Kosovo Police officer Shaban Hajdari from Prizren will be laid to rest. The funeral ceremony is scheduled to take place at 16:00.

Funeral prayers will first be held at the Dragoman mosque, followed by the burial.
Hajdari was 35 years old and served in the Kosovo Police Rapid Response Unit. His death has shocked his family, colleagues and the community where he lived and served.
As Sinjali reported exclusively, he was found with no signs of life on the morning of July 22 at the cemetery in the village of Morinë, Kukës. Preliminary evidence from the investigation has raised suspicions that his death was caused by a gunshot wound.
A firearm was also found at the scene and is suspected to have been the officer’s official service weapon. It was seized as material evidence.
Albania’s competent authorities are continuing to investigate the case in cooperation with the Kosovo Police. Shaban Hajdari’s family, friends and colleagues will bid him a final farewell today.
