A joint exercise on base security and the management of mass-casualty incidents was conducted at Camp Bondsteel by the multinational personnel of KFOR’s Regional Command-East.

The activity aimed to assess the speed and effectiveness of the response to simulated threats and large-scale emergencies.
The exercise involved military personnel, medical teams, firefighters and aviation units from various countries, KFOR said.
Participants faced several scenarios in which they practiced force protection, the transportation and treatment of the wounded, as well as the implementation of evacuation procedures.
KFOR assessed that the exercise helped strengthen cooperation among units and improve preparedness for complex situations.
The NATO mission stressed that conducting such activities helps ensure a safe environment for all citizens of Kosovo.
