At the meeting of the Democratic Party’s National Council, held this Wednesday, a vote was held on the new composition of the governing forum.
During this meeting, Democratic Party chairman Sali Berisha presented for approval two new candidacies for membership in the National Council, Julia Emiri and Silvia Hasa.

After discussions and the vote held among the forum’s members, other decisions were also taken related to the organization and functioning of the Democratic Party’s leadership structures.
According to the announced results, Julia Emiri received 207 votes, Silvia Hasa 83 votes, while 23 votes were declared invalid.
At the close of this process, Julia Emiri was confirmed by a majority vote as the new chair of the DP’s National Council.
