Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Janina Ymeri has commented on the possibility of her stance if the LDK and the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) reach an agreement to create new institutions.
On the show Debat Plus, she was asked whether she would remain in the chamber and support such a deal, including the part related to the election of the president. Ymeri said that at this moment she cannot give a final answer.

“I can’t say anything now. It depends on how events unfold later. For example, who the proposed president is, and so on,” Ymeri said on Debat Plus.
Later, the MP also clarified her statement on Facebook.
“As you may have heard on Debat Plus, tonight I was contacted and asked whether I would remain in the chamber for the President:
1. It depends on who will become President and what the course of events will be, so I will consider it like any other decision in the Assembly.
By the course of events, I meant moments such as crisis, protests and unrest around this decision if no agreement is reached, because in such cases priorities change.
2. A political agreement does not mean that it overrides or makes me underestimate the vote of 27,480 voters for Janina Ymeri,” she clarified.
