He is suspected of having links to radical skinhead groups and is being investigated for propaganda and incitement to criminal acts motivated by racial, ethnic and religious discrimination.
The case came under investigation after communications in the “2B” WhatsApp group were examined. According to investigators, racist messages, far-right extremist content and references to violence had been shared there.
The investigative documents also mention references to Adolf Hitler and Nazi extermination camps. In a message to a transgender person, the 19-year-old allegedly wrote that he had even more reason to massacre them.
Posts featuring Nazi and fascist symbols, as well as photographs showing firearms, were found on a social media profile attributed to the young man.
The search of the home was carried out by Milan’s Digos police, assisted by officers from Pavia. During the operation, weapons and other items linked to Nazi ideology were seized.
The seizure included two pistols, an automatic rifle, swords, knives, daggers and other bladed weapons. Flags bearing swastikas and symbols of SS units were also found, along with propaganda materials, reproductions and manuals dedicated to Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini.
The investigation is linked to an earlier case that led to the arrest of another person from the Pavia area on April 22. He is suspected of administering the “Terza Posizione” online group.
Under the coordination of prosecutor Alessandro Gobbis, investigators are attempting to determine the activities of those involved and whether there are links between them.
By order of the Pavia Prosecutor’s Office, the arrested man was taken to Voghera prison. He will remain there pending judicial validation of his arrest.
