Applications for the 2026–2027 program to protect vulnerable electricity consumers are expected to open soon. The Ministry of Labor, Family and Liberation War Values announced that Minister Andin Hoti has signed a decision setting out the conditions and criteria for receiving support under the program.

The government has allocated 15 million euros to the program, which, according to the ministry, will help families most in need of support with their electricity bills.
In addition to eligibility criteria and the application process, the decision sets out how the subsidy will be calculated and paid. It also covers procedures for reviewing applications and verifying the information submitted by applicants.
The ministry said it would announce the opening date and application procedure in due course.
