From July 1, Macedonia imposes a ban on movement in forests due to the risk of fires

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water announced that a ban on movement in forests will be in force from July 1 to August 31.

This decision was made following a request from the PE “National Forests” and in accordance with the Forest Law, due to the risk of fires in open areas.

The ban will apply throughout the entire day, from 00:000 to 24:00, in all areas managed by this public enterprise.

Movement in forests will be allowed only for people who have a permit issued by PE “National Forests” and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The ministry clarified that this ban does not include forest parks, such as national parks and Vodno.
