Four people were detained in Kumanovo after police discovered drugs and items linked to the misuse of narcotic substances during a search.

The Kumanovo Department of Internal Affairs announced that on July 25, 2026, police officers arrested D.I. (55), M.I. (26), R.A. (50) and A.P. (46), all residents of Kumanovo.
Acting on a court order, police searched D.I.’s home at around 14:00. He was not at the property at the time. Inside were his son, M.I., the latter’s friend, R.A., and A.P. Police seized a powdery substance, a digital scale, methadone, objects bearing traces of white powder and other items.
Following operational measures, D.I. was located at around 17:30 near the Memorial Ossuary (Spomen Kosturnica) in Kumanovo. A search uncovered a grinder, objects containing residue of a powdery substance and other items, which were confiscated.
