Three Air Tractor aircraft from the Directorate for Protection and Rescue are taking part in the operation, along with an aircraft from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. They were deployed because the fire is burning in an inaccessible area where ground crews face difficulties operating.
The Crisis Management Center said the situation near the inhabited areas of the village of Gaber is currently under control and residents are not at risk.
Meanwhile, the fire is advancing toward the village of Vërzhale. For this reason, developments are being monitored with heightened attention, and the responsible teams remain on the ground.
The director of the Crisis Management Center, Muhamed Ali, is also at the scene and is closely monitoring the situation together with the teams.
The Crisis Management Center stressed that it is continuously coordinating operations with all relevant institutions and services to bring the flames under control as quickly as possible and ensure the protection of local residents.
