Acting Minister of Defense Ejup Maqedonci today received five cadets from Kosovo who have successfully completed their studies at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey.

During the meeting, Maqedonci congratulated Second Lieutenants Ramadan Rexha, Gjergj Dreni, Altin Salihaj, Elmë Ramadani and Admirim Ismajli on completing five years of academic training. The program included one year of preparatory Turkish-language courses and four years of military studies.
He emphasized that the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force consider the education and professional advancement of their personnel to be one of their priority areas.
“Before the start of the graduation ceremony at the Military Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey, I had the pleasure of meeting the cadets from Kosovo who successfully completed their education at this prestigious academy. I congratulated Second Lieutenants Ramadan Rexha, Gjergj Dreni, Altin Salihaj, Elmë Ramadani and Admirim Ismajli on completing five years of education, including one year of preparatory Turkish-language courses and four years of military studies,” Maqedonci wrote on Facebook.
According to the minister, in addition to increasing the force’s capacities and modernizing it, the Ministry of Defense and the Kosovo Security Force attach particular importance to the education, training and professional development of their members. He said that preparing highly qualified military personnel represents an investment in the future of the Kosovo Security Force, as well as in creating a modern, professional force capable of cooperating with the armed forces of partner countries.
“Educating our officers at the prestigious academies of partner states also helps strengthen relations and cooperation between our armed forces. We express our gratitude to the Republic of Turkey for its continued support in the education and professional development of Kosovo Security Force members. I wish our Second Lieutenants much success in the duties and responsibilities that await them in the service of the Kosovo Security Force and the Republic of Kosovo,” he said.
