Residents initially suspected that the fire had affected the building itself. Checks showed that the blaze had started outside the building, where rubbish was burning, and that the flames had later spread into the underground garage, igniting waste located there.
As soon as they noticed the smoke, residents rushed out of their apartments. Meanwhile, all the vehicles parked in the garage were removed in time.
Police and firefighting services intervened immediately, managing to contain the blaze and extinguish it completely before the situation worsened.
The incident caused no material damage to the vehicles and posed no danger to the residents’ lives, as the fire was brought fully under control.
