“Every blow they strike brings 100 more people to the square,” activist speaks about tensions before Parliament: We are stronger, we will not change no matter what the police do

At the opening of the 33rd protest in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, the first to speak was activist Edison Likaj.

He also commented on the tensions recorded during the protest held today in front of Parliament, where clashes were reported between protesters and police.

According to Likaj, every blow dealt by law enforcement brings more people to the square.

“Their violence is very unnecessary for democracy, but it is necessary for resistance. Every punch of theirs adds 100 more people to the square. We are stronger. We do not change regardless of what they do,” Likaj declared.
