The Albanian Road Authority has clarified, through a statement on Facebook, the situation regarding the lack of an entrance and exit at Papër along the new Elbasan-Rrogozhinë Highway.

According to ARRSH, the project for this infrastructure facility includes the construction of an interchange at Papër. This intervention will connect the Papër area, Cërrik and the surrounding territories to the highway.
The authority said that the interchange is not part of the contracts currently being implemented. Its construction has been planned for a later phase, in line with the project’s planning and continuation.
ARRSH stated that it will continue to inform the public regularly and transparently about the progress of infrastructure projects, emphasizing the importance of accurate and verified data on matters of public interest.
The institution said it remains available for any additional information about the project and the works, while thanking citizens for their understanding.
