Residents of Divjaka held their sixth consecutive night of protests on Wednesday evening against the proposed territorial reform, which envisages merging the Municipality of Divjaka with the Municipality of Lushnje.

Determined to continue their opposition, the protesters said they would not stop until the government withdraws the proposal to dissolve the municipality.
During speeches at the protest, in addition to opposing the territorial reform, residents called on MPs elected with the votes of Divjaka citizens, from both the majority and the opposition, to support their demand and defend the community’s interests.
At the end of the rally, the protesters continued their nightly ritual by marching through the streets of Divjaka.
