Students have begun gathering outside the Ministry of Education, where they will hold a national protest today, following three weeks of demonstrations and rallies against the government and calls for Prime Minister Edi Rama to resign.
Under the slogan “We will not stop until there is a resignation,” young people have mobilized against the current political establishment.

Lecturers are also expected to support the students. For several days, they have boycotted classes in solidarity with the young people’s demands.
Democrats are also expected to return to the square in a show of solidarity with the student protest.
In their calls, students have named the departure of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the current political establishment as their main demand, calling for a new spirit in Albania.
After weeks of protests, the young people continue to insist that they will not back down until their demands are met. Today’s rally is expected to be another important moment for the student movement.
