A domestic altercation left a married couple injured in Durrës this afternoon.

The incident occurred at around 17:00 in Neighborhood 14. Following a dispute with his wife, 38-year-old A. L., 43-year-old Xh. L. allegedly struck her in the head with a sharp object, specifically a knife.
The 43-year-old man was also injured during the altercation.
The couple were taken to hospital for medical treatment. Police said both are out of danger.
Under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, the investigative team is working to fully establish the circumstances of the altercation and legally document the incident.
