However, sources told Euronews journalist Enkelejda Mema that consideration of the issue is expected to be moved to another plenary session. This follows the suspension of Monday’s session, as the items left unaddressed have been moved to the agenda for Thursday’s session.
The Conference of Chairpersons is expected to meet on Thursday morning to determine the date of the special session. According to sources, July 27 is being discussed as the most likely option.
Meanwhile, the SP and DP are working on drafting their reports. It is not yet known whether the documents will include concrete proposals for the new territorial configuration, as well as the number and names of the municipalities.
