Protesters put pressure on several police officers by throwing stones and incendiary substances at them. Some police forces are positioned near the entrance to Skanderbeg Square.

Equipped with riot gear and shields, the officers withdrew under attacks with iron bars, flares and stones. The withdrawal was also prompted by the limited number of police officers, while the protesters outnumbered them.
During the clash, a police officer was injured and requested an ambulance. At one point, he was heard saying that he had been hit in the lung.
