The Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, Ahmet Ismaili, has submitted the CBK’s 2025 Annual Report to the Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and at the same time Acting President of the Republic of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, according to a statement from the CBK.
According to the CBK, “The 2025 Annual Report reflects the CBK’s activities, developments and results in fulfilling its constitutional and legal mandate to preserve financial stability, strengthen the integrity of the financial system, protect the public interest and ensure institutional sustainability.”

The statement says that the meeting also addressed the main reforms and initiatives implemented during the year, including the advancement of the macroprudential and supervisory framework, regulatory harmonization with European Union standards, the development of the payment system, preparations for SEPA as an inter-institutional process, progress on the TIPS Clone project, as well as strengthening consumer protection, financial education and financial inclusion.
