He declared that the Democratic Party has supported the student protest and will continue to support it, calling on Democrats and citizens to join the protesters.
“Rama, instead of resigning, is trying to serve students the dismissal of Hita or someone else. At a time when he himself stands directly behind the order. The Democratic Party has supported the student protest with all its strength and will continue to support it with all its strength, and that is why I am here to call on Democrats and all citizens to drop everything and join in these historic moments to strongly defend and support students and their protest,” Berisha said.
The DP leader also addressed professors and teachers, urging them to stand alongside students and pupils. He warned of strict measures against people who exert pressure on young people to carry out government orders.
“I call on all professors and teachers to stand together with their pupils on the right side of history, against this hated regime. I also warn that the strictest measures will absolutely be taken against mercenaries who seek to pressure pupils or students by carrying out the regime’s orders. History is before students and pupils. Today every small business should lower its shutters and go on strike together with student youth against the regime,” the DP leader said.
