Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha reacted to Ikballe Huduti being declared non grata, while also explaining why she was photographed with the former president of Iran.
According to Berisha, the photo of Ikballe Huduti with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was taken at a time when she had organized the Socialist International in Tehran.

“Edi Rama is worn out. He resembles, what can you say, you can give him many epithets. He is sending thousands of messages across the European political elite to present them as an Iranian movement because he found Ikballe in a photo with Ahmadinejad. Rama himself has photos together with Erion Veliaj.
He has photos because she organized the Socialist International in Tehran. And now she was supposed to be declared non grata. How weak these people are. These people are finished, I’m telling you.
Can you imagine how terrified they are of Ikballe? Can you imagine? And they proudly declare her non grata. Yesterday they seized and dragged protesters, but they did not defeat them at all. Absolutely. They dragged them just as they dragged them in Zvërnec. Edi Rama is headed for the end he deserves.
Therefore, dear members of the National Council, dear democrats, supporters of the Democratic Party, once again my call is for massive support in every way for this movement, which will soon give Edi Rama the place he deserves,” Berisha said.
