During the “Renewal Forum” event in Vlora, Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha leveled serious accusations against Prime Minister Edi Rama, focusing on recent developments in the security institutions and the individuals involved in the AKSHI case.

Berisha first spoke about SHISH director Vlora Hyseni, for whom the Special Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime (GJKKO) ordered house arrest and dismissal from office as part of investigations related to the AKSHI case. He accused Hyseni of placing state surveillance equipment at the disposal of individuals linked to organized crime.
The Democratic Party leader also commented on the searches carried out by the National Bureau of Investigation (BKH) at the home of former Director General of the State Police Ilir Proda. The search was conducted earlier today on the orders of GJKKO. According to publicly available information, during the operation Proda’s phone, a laptop, and several USB drives and CDs were seized. So far, the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) has not disclosed his specific role in the investigation.
Despite this, Berisha said that a sniper rifle had also been found during the search of the home. He also mentioned Belinda Balluku, Vlora Hyseni, Ergys Agasi and Ermal Beqiri, claiming that the actions of which they have been accused or for which they are being investigated were not carried out independently, but according to instructions from Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“The head of SHISH is a despicable soldier of organized crime. She provided crime with all the equipment bought with your taxes for surveillance. The former police director whose home was searched was found to have a powerful sniper rifle in his home, purchased for specific purposes. Everything you have heard and will hear about Balluku, Hyseni, Beqiri and Agasi was absolutely all done on Rama’s orders. Albanians will hear many more things. The Democratic Party has a role to play in saving the country,” Berisha declared.
