President Bajram Begaj has sent his congratulations to the Albanian wrestling team following its successful performance at the “Taranto 2026” Mediterranean Games.

Albania secured a total of three medals in the competition: one gold, one silver and one bronze.
Islam Dudaev triumphed in the final and was crowned champion, winning the gold medal. Zelimkhan Abakarov finished with a silver medal, while Ardit Zeneli took the bronze.
“Many congratulations to our wrestling team on its outstanding results at the Taranto Mediterranean Games! Best of luck!” President Begaj wrote on social media.
