Newsbomb.al has learned that Florion’s mother, 80-year-old Fanije Dalladaku, died as a result of the blows with the pickaxe, while his father, 77-year-old Hasan Dalladaku, is in serious condition in hospital.
According to the State Police, at around 21:20 this evening, in the village of Zhymë, 45-year-old Florion Dalladaku allegedly struck his mother, Fanije Dalladaku, with a sharp metal object—a pickaxe—inside their home, for as-yet-unclear reasons.
The 80-year-old woman died at the scene from the injuries she sustained. The son also seriously injured his father, 77-year-old Hasan Dalladaku, who is in hospital under medical care.
“Florion Dalladaku, who is suspected of suffering from mental health problems, left the home after the incident. Police services are continuing their searches to locate and apprehend him,” the Police said.
The investigative team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Fier Prosecutor’s Office, is working to fully document the circumstances of the serious incident.
