The Alliance for Albanians says that in recent months, numerous cases, statistics and complaints have been collected, raising serious doubts about hiring and promotion procedures in state institutions.

According to ASH, VLEN claims to have implemented meritocracy and carried out more than 2,500 hires and promotions, and should therefore provide full transparency by publishing data for each institution, competition and position.
“The cases, figures and complaints collected over the past several months raise major questions about the way hiring and promotions are conducted within state institutions.
VLEN says it has ensured meritocracy, representation and thousands of hires and promotions. For this reason, it should make all the data public, separately for each institution, competition and position.
However, the data made public so far present an entirely different situation.
Of a group of 136 hires in state institutions, only 5 people were Albanian. Another analysis, covering 205 hires and promotions, showed that only 2 of them were Albanian. Meanwhile, at NOMAGAS, of the 102 reported hires, only 19 were Albanian.
The results published a few days ago for the Secondary Police School also showed that, among the 310 candidates admitted, only around 9 were Albanian.
