The director of the Directorate for Protection and Rescue, Stojanče Angellov, said that the powerful storm that has hit countries across the region, including Albania and Kosovo, is moving toward North Macedonia.

According to him, the severe weather is expected to bring heavy rainfall and strong winds.
“The storm that has swept through Albania and Kosovo is currently moving toward North Macedonia. It is expected to bring mainly heavier rainfall, while strong winds may not be the main element,” Angellov said.
Meanwhile, considerable damage caused by strong winds has been reported in the capital, Skopje.
