The leader of the Democratic Union for Integration, Ali Ahmeti, said he had clearly called on Artan Grubi to return to North Macedonia and take responsibility for his actions if he had abused the trust placed in him. Ahmeti stressed that he seeks full and impartial justice, while expressing hope that Grubi will be released from house arrest and that the judicial process will move forward.

“I have been the strongest voice pressuring Artan Grubi to return to the country and face the proceedings. I told him openly: ‘If you have abused my trust, then you must be held accountable.’ He swore to me that he would act properly. And the only thing he has told me is: ‘I have acted honestly,’” Ahmeti emphasized.
The DUI chairman added that he had publicly pressured the country’s political establishment to ensure that Grubi comes forward and faces the charges. “But not selective justice—I want genuine justice. I believe the situation is moving in the right direction. The first step is lifting the house arrest, and then we will see how the proceedings develop,” Ali Ahmeti concluded.
