Alarming Scenes from Kruja as Wildfire Engulfs Mountainside and Threatens 30 Homes and Businesses

A fire broke out today on a mountainside in Kruja’s Abazaj neighborhood, creating an alarming situation for local residents. The flames are at risk of spreading toward around 30 homes and businesses.

Only one fire engine is currently responding at the scene, while the difficult terrain is making efforts to tackle the flames even more challenging.

Residents have called for urgent assistance and appealed for a helicopter to intervene from the air to halt the fire’s advance.
