A 39-year-old woman has been arrested in Tirana on suspicion of taking temporary jobs at various businesses with the aim of stealing their daily takings and then fleeing.

The police operation, codenamed “Scheme,” was carried out by officers from Police Stations No. 1 and No. 2, in cooperation with the “Shqiponja” Special Force.
The wanted woman, K. Z., 39, a resident of Tirana, was apprehended by officers from the “Shqiponja” Special Force at a bar in the capital.
The investigation into the case was launched as part of efforts to prevent and combat property crimes and to document incidents that had occurred earlier.
Investigators have established five cases of theft at various businesses in areas covered by Police Stations No. 1 and No. 2.
Police are continuing their efforts to solve other thefts that may have been committed by the 39-year-old woman.
The case files were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
