A joint inspection operation was carried out today in Gjilan and Viti, coordinated by the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic Crimes and Corruption – the Regional Unit in Gjilan, in cooperation with the Kosovo Tax Administration (TAK), the Central Labour Inspectorate (CLI), and the Central Inspectorate of the Ministry of Trade (CIMT).
The operation, conducted in coordination with the Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan, began at 9:30 a.m. A total of 35 car parks were included in the inspections.

Authorities announced that various violations were identified during the inspections. In these cases, the responsible institutions took the necessary action in accordance with their legal powers.
At this stage, neither the types of violations found nor any specific measures that may have been imposed have been made public. The institutions said that inter-institutional coordination would continue in other operations, with the aim of enforcing the law, combating the informal economy and ensuring fair competition in the market.
