A 21-year-old woman lost her life in Fairbanks, Alaska, after being accidentally shot by her 22-year-old partner.

According to local authorities, Landon Lowrance was playing with a revolver and had pointed it at CloeRae McBrayer when the gun went off. The incident was also reported by The Sun.
The tragic incident occurred on September 16, at around 9:12 p.m. A friend of Lowrance called emergency services to report that a gunshot had been heard.
When officers arrived at the residence, they found the 21-year-old with no signs of life. Meanwhile, the 22-year-old had been seriously injured after shooting himself with another weapon.
Lowrance was taken to hospital but did not survive. Police have classified his death as a suicide.
Authorities are continuing to work to fully establish the circumstances of the incident.
McBrayer’s family said that she had recently been accepted to the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she planned to study to become a teacher.
