This afternoon, Tirana is expected to once again be the scene of a protest against Prime Minister Edi Rama’s government, the 113th consecutive demonstration.

Participants will gather to continue their resistance, while the prime minister’s resignation remains one of their main demands. Organizers have also called for participation in upcoming rallies.
Today’s protest follows the 112th demonstration, which took place just one day earlier. Yesterday’s rally included a march through several streets in Tirana and chants against the government.
During the march, protesters chanted: “Edi Rama, resign!”, “Arrest Balluku, arrest Rama!”, “Your end has come!” and “Albania demands a revolution!”
The 113th rally is scheduled to begin this afternoon in Tirana, while it is not yet known which areas the march will cover or what route the protesters will follow.
