Albania’s Parliament, the only one in the world to do so, declared the whole of Iran a terrorist state—not a police or military service.

Meanwhile, that same parliament and those same MPs—the Socialist Party MPs—refused to approve a resolution condemning the Serbian genocide against the Albanians of Kosovo.
Albania’s prime minister went all the way to Israel to shake Netanyahu’s hand and show him how proud he feels to stand beside him.
Perhaps by doing so, he wanted to prove that it is his mission to wash the blood from the hands of those whom many consider responsible for the killing of thousands of innocent children.
Meanwhile, many Serbian and Macedonian politicians publicly express regret that Milošević did not exterminate the Albanians, or repeat the saying that “a dead Albanian is a good Albanian,” while official Tirana cannot find a single Serb or Macedonian it considers dangerous to Albania and declare them persona non grata.
On the other hand, at the rate Albanians living outside their homeland are being declared persona non grata, it will soon look as though Albania was founded to protect Albanian identity from Albanians themselves, rather than from those who publicly express hatred toward our people.
Therefore, as an Albanian, you cannot help but feel miserable when you see that even today, just as in the time of Esad Pasha, Albania is inhabited by Albanians, but its politics often protect Serbian interests.
Who knows, perhaps the time has come to admit that Albania is in this state also because it has elites without dignity or national pride—elites insensitive to the misfortunes of the country and their own people.
We must also accept that many still do not see that the only hope for the Albanian nation lies in the youth protests in Tirana, and that only young people can cleanse Albania of three decades of neo-Communist filth.
Filth that consists not only of the political elites who want to open a Serbian consulate in Shkodër, but also of the social and intellectual elites that have agreed to live with a shameless face—those who remain silent while Albania rots and pretend not to see that our homeland is in the hands of the “Alliance of Scoundrels.”
Meanwhile, the author of this text has a request for Albania’s secret services: when you declare me persona non grata, do not reveal how much I was paid by Iran’s ayatollahs, the Russian, Chinese and Greek secret services, because I have not told my family about all the money.
And allow me to continue deceiving my descendants by telling them that even my mistakes stem from the belief that many things can be bought and sold, but not dignity and national pride.
