Through a reaction on social networks, Allajbeu has described the claims as fabricated, emphasizing that the media has the duty not only to inform the public, but also to verify facts and respect professional ethics.
“In recent days, untrue claims related to my person and professional activity have been published in several portals. I want to clearly deny them: these claims are entirely fabricated,” he writes.
Allajbeu says that freedom of expression should not be used as a justification for publishing slander and warns that he will pursue all legal avenues against the authors and media outlets that have published the claims.
“Freedom of expression cannot turn into freedom to slander. For this reason, I have decided to pursue all legal avenues to hold accountable the authors and publishers of these slanders,” Allajbeu declares.
According to him, undertaking legal steps aims to protect his personal and family dignity, as well as the reputation of colleagues and professionals who, as he claims, have been unjustly mentioned in the publications.
In conclusion of his reaction, Allajbeu expresses confidence that the institutions will treat the matter seriously and that the truth will come to light.
