A serious incident shook the city of Kërçovë yesterday afternoon, where a person lost his life as a result of a fire that engulfed his apartment. According to the official announcement from the Ministry of Interior, the signal for flames in an apartment on “4 July” street arrived at the Kërçovë Regional Police Station around 18:55, from the Territorial Firefighting Unit.

After the intervention to extinguish the fire, the firefighting teams of Kërçovë discovered inside the premises the lifeless and burned body of S.S., a 37-year-old resident of this city. The emergency service doctor pronounced the death of the 37-year-old at the scene.
Immediately after this, the authorities launched investigation procedures. A public prosecutor, along with a specialized team from the Kërçovë Department of Internal Affairs, carried out a detailed inspection of the area to clarify the circumstances of this tragic incident.
