Kosovo Police have arrested two individuals with Serbian citizenship in two separate incidents in the northern part of the country, after they entered without permission through the border with Serbia.

One of the incidents was recorded around noon on Tuesday at the Jarinje border crossing point.
According to the authorities’ announcement, the suspect, a male from Serbia, was caught while illegally crossing the border line. After the interview was completed, the prosecutor ordered his release and the case is now being pursued through regular procedural channels.
The second case occurred the same day, but in the evening hours, in the village of Koshutica, which belongs to the municipality of Leposavic. This person, identified as a Kosovo citizen, was also released after questioning and the investigation materials were transferred to regular procedure.
According to the Kosovo Police 24-hour report, both events have been classified as the criminal offense of “Illegal border crossing.”
