According to preliminary data reported by the Spanish press, the young boy was with hundreds of peers near a fountain in the square, a place known as a traditional gathering spot during town celebrations.
Despite the immediate reaction of the citizens present and local police officers, who managed to pull him out of the collapsed materials, the minor was dead at the moment of his extraction.
