CeSID: Six lists in the Serbian Parliament, Albanian Coalition secures two seats

CeSID’s final projection, based on a sample processed to 100 percent, forecasts that the 250 seats in the Serbian Parliament will be divided among representatives of six lists. Among them is the Albanian Coalition of the Preševo Valley, which is expected to win two seats.

The “Students’ List” emerges as the dominant force in this assessment, with 141 seats and an absolute majority. Meanwhile, the “United Serbia” list, led by Aleksandar Vučić, has won 103 seats.

Two seats are also projected for the Alliance of Hungarians of Vojvodina, led by Bálint Pásztor. The Human Minority List, led by Rasim Ljajić, and the SDA with the Guardians of Sandžak list have secured one seat each.

CeSID explained that diaspora polling stations were not included in the sample. For this reason, votes cast abroad may bring minor changes to the final distribution of seats.

The Republic Electoral Commission only began publishing the initial results from voting in the diaspora today, after 15:00. The first data indicate a sweeping victory for the Students’ List.
