Finance Minister Gordana Dimitrieska-Koçoska announced the news in a Facebook post. According to her, continuing this policy is intended to support living standards and preserve the stability of the economy.
“The government is continuing to implement measures that protect citizens’ living standards and the stability of the domestic economy. For this reason, the measure reducing VAT on fuel from 18 to 10 percent has been extended until October 20, 2026. This decision affects retail fuel prices and helps ease external price pressures, reducing the financial burden on citizens and the economy,” Dimitrieska-Koçoska wrote.
