Gazment Bardhi reacted to the request by the Socialist Party’s Parliamentary Group to take disciplinary measures against him, following the tensions recorded in Parliament.

The leader of the Democratic Party’s parliamentary group accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of violating the rules and the Constitution. According to Bardhi, Rama depends on Belinda Balluku’s vote to secure support in Parliament.
Bardhi described Rama as the only prime minister who, in his view, needs the vote of a person accused of corruption, referring to Balluku.
“Do not punish me for 60 days, but for 4 years! You are violating the rules and the Constitution; do whatever you can. Nevertheless, you will not manage to rid Edi Rama of his fear.
He is the only prime minister who needs the vote of a person accused of corruption, such as Belinda Balluku, to destroy citizens’ lives and erase 15 municipalities from the map.
He is also the only prime minister in the world who comes to Parliament to vote accompanied by 40 members of the Republican Guard. He knows that his confrontation is not with opposition MPs, but with the citizens, whom he has abandoned and abused for 13 years,” Bardhi wrote.
