Kosovo’s Assembly has approved in its first reading the bill on establishing the State Bureau for the Verification and Confiscation of Unjustified Assets.

Minister of Justice Donika Gërvalla announced that the legislative initiative received 81 votes in favor, with no votes against and no abstentions.
In a post, Gërvalla welcomed the vote, describing it as an important step toward strengthening the rule of law and combating unjustified wealth.
She stressed that the successful passage of the first reading in the Assembly brings the establishment of the State Bureau closer.
